Leeville Fishing Rodeo Open to Serious Sport Anglers, Roadside Casters and Kids

View All Events

The Leeville Fishing Rodeo is held in October at Griffin’s Marina in the town of Leeville. Located near the southernmost path of Bayou Lafourche as it nears the Gulf of Mexico, the event draws a mix of serious sport anglers and casual casters.

Famed for its easy access to some of the best saltwater fishing grounds in Louisiana, the community of Leeville becomes a center of activity as competitors take to the water, seeking catches of redfish and speckled trout.

Fishing rodeo prizes are awarded for first, second and third places in each category, but bragging rights are what draw so many fishing enthusiasts to this rodeo.
